Heathfield & Co at Sleep 2016

Dates: 22 – 23 November Venue: Business Design Centre
Stand: M9B Website: www.thesleepevent.com

Sleep, the hotel design event, returns this year to London’s Business Design Centre from 22 – 23 November. Heathfield & Co are delighted to be exhibiting at Stand M9B where a selection of upcoming lighting designs will be featured from the Alabaster and Veletto ranges.

Contemporary lighting studio, Luum, will be joining Heathfield & Co at this year’s event where they will be featuring ‘Plume’, a stunning lighting lighting installation featuring hand-crafted feathers.

The Sleep exhibition is one of the major annual events for the hotel design industry. In addition to the exhibition itself, the event will also feature the ‘Sleep Set’, ‘Convergence’, and a comprehensive conference and discussion programme. The ‘Sleep Set’ sees five designers create hotel experiences based upon the needs and preferences of a series of ‘tribes’, identified as; ‘established’, ‘intellectual’, ‘performer’, ‘digital Avant-garde’ and ‘sensory oriented’. ‘Convergence’ will see architectural and design practices explore the defining properties of a hotel space through a series of conference talks and installations. The conference programme itself will feature more than fifty speakers and a number of panel discussion with topics such as ‘Virtual reality in design’, ‘the future of wellness’ and ‘fear and love in hotel design’. Also featured at this year’s event will be an ‘Immersive Reality Lounge’, giving visitors the chance to experience hotel design concepts in 3D and get their hands on some of the latest digital reality platforms.

Heathfield & Co are regular exhibitors at the Sleep event with the show providing an excellent opportunity to present the latest lighting designs following the fantastic response at September’s Decorex International.
