Taste of Design 2017
This year saw the Taste of Design exhibition enter its twentieth year. The unique event brings together a collection of the world’s finest interior brands, exhibiting at some of the UK’s most beautiful and iconic venues. This year featured six renowned venues ranging from the historic and picturesque Allerton Castle in North Yorkshire to the striking, contemporary architecture of Belfast’s Titanic Museum. As regular exhibitors, we joined a number of familiar iconic interior brands including Vincent Sheppard, Titley & Marr, Anna French, Marvic, Dedar and Whitehead Designs, amongst others. A number of new brands also exhibited this year including Gainsborough Silks, Arte, Beacon Hill and Tissus d’Hélène.
A diverse range of lighting designs were featured at the shows including several pieces form our recently launched Alabaster range. Ceramic pieces such as the Napoli Bluestone Reactive table lamp sat alongside glass designs such as the Harper Smoke table lamp and Freddi Smoke floor lamp. Floor lamp and table lamp designs from the visually striking Veletto range were also included as well as several designs from the Zoffany Collection including the Fiametta Mist and Caius Mineral table lamps. New, ‘exclusive’ shade fabrics from our new ‘Shades Book’ were also shown including lustrously finished metallic ‘Brush Sheer’ linens.
