When Panoramic Properties took on the restoration of this charming Edwardian home in Didsbury, the goal was clear: preserve the character and warmth of the original architecture while gently weaving in modern touches to suit a contemporary family lifestyle.
The result? A neutral palette that flows throughout the house, creating a sense of cohesion and calm. Our lighting was chosen to complement this timeless style - subtle details that quietly tie each space together.
At the heart of the home, the kitchen and open-plan living area are designed with family life in mind - practical, but beautifully considered. Above the main dining table, a horizontal configuration of our Oslin pendant emits a warming glow, gently illuminating the space without overpowering it. Its organic shape complements the modern elements in the space, while still keeping that inviting, lived-in feel. A smaller Oslin pendant over the round breakfast table nearby echoes the design, creating a natural visual link that enhances the effortless flow between spaces.
Upstairs, the master bedroom takes on a bolder, more luxurious feel. Here, our Nula wall lights in alabaster flank the bed, mounted onto a custom headboard. They cast a soft, diffused light - perfect for winding down at the end of the day. In the adjoining dressing room, a pair of our Milo pendants, with their sleek, minimalist design, adds a modern edge while blending seamlessly into the serene, understated palette.
