Hiru Uhinak Hotel, Spain

Set along the beautiful Basque coastline in Deba, Spain, the Hiru Uhinak Hotel is a perfect blend of heritage charm and modern comfort. Inspired by its breathtaking surroundings, the hotel’s design embraces the use of natural materials to create a warm, inviting space that feels connected to the landscape. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated, from sustainable supplier partnerships to the textures and tones found throughout the hotel that bring the outdoors in.

Lighting plays a key role in setting the mood throughout the hotel, and we’re thrilled to see our designs featured in so many spaces. The moment guests step into the lobby, they’re greeted by the soft, welcoming glow of our Amelia table lamps. In the restaurant, our Lunar pendants in Blanc glass add a touch of understated elegance, while the Roehampton pendants introduce a playful pop of color, enhancing the dining experience with warmth and style.

Each guest room has its own distinct personality, with lighting carefully selected to enhance its unique character. In the standard double rooms, our Nara pendants and Veletto table lamps create a cosy, stylish atmosphere whilst in others, the Rae pendants and Koa wall lights add a soft, diffused glow that feels both inviting and relaxing.

For guests staying in the deluxe rooms, lighting takes on a sculptural quality. Our Nora pendants, with their cocoon-like glass forms, subtly echo the organic shapes found in nature, while the Torchere floor lamp in satin brass add a sleek, contemporary edge. Koa single pendants in warm beige, brown, and white hues cast a gentle, earthy glow that ties in seamlessly with the hotel’s natural aesthetic. In the sea-view suite, Rae wall lights frame the queen-size bed, creating a serene retreat with an added touch of sophistication.

The hotel’s larger apartments strike the perfect balance between refinement and relaxation. Rhea pendants bring a sense of organic texture, while our Nula and Cosmo pendants offer a beautiful blend of ambient and task lighting, elegantly suspended above the kitchen islands.
