Contemporary Farmhouse, Falchi Interiors

Falchi Interiors have reimagined this 1810s barn and stable conversion into a beautifully curated contemporary farmhouse. Located in a countryside village in West Sussex, the project brings together three separate buildings, unified through considered, tailored design choices to create one seamless, characterful residence. 

From the moment you step inside, the sense of flow and detail is clear. A bespoke entrance table sits beneath our Oslin 6 pendant, setting the tone with a striking first impression. In the winter lounge, comfort takes centre stage. Rich textures, deep tones and layered finishes create an inviting space. The room features our Andromeda pendant with denim linen shades, casting a gentle, warming glow.

The open-plan dining area is both elegant and liveable. A dining table, carefully selected to suit both the room’s proportions and the clients’ lifestyle, is paired with our Oslin 7 horizontal pendant. Acting as a statement piece, it also echoes the entrance pendant, creating a quiet, considered connection between the two spaces.

A cluster of our Nula pendants hangs at the top of the staircase, which leads up from the pool room to the master suite. The soft alabaster veining adds subtle detail and texture to this transitional area. In the master suite, a calm palette of cream, ivory and soft neutrals creates an atmosphere of quiet luxury. Our Astri table lamps, with their naturally textured ceramic bases, add warmth and depth, while our Nula wall lights elegantly light up the marble-clad bathroom. In the adjacent dressing room, our Rae wall lights add a soft, diffused light that enhances the calm, curated feel. Seen in the guest bedrooms, our Kaya table lamps in grey ceramic tones and Elder lamps with their sculptural forms support the natural materials and soft tones used throughout the two spaces. 

In the pool room - a long, narrow space with a considered mix of textures - our Aster table lamps in white ceramic help add softness and light. At the far end, the home office features our Andro desk lamp, which provides focused task lighting with a quietly elegant presence.
