Introducing the Echo Collection
Blending genres: Heathfield & Co’s Spring / Summer 24 collection is an ode to iconic vintage designs with a modern twist
From mid-century modern materials and forms, to the simple handcrafted aesthetic of the Arts and Crafts movement, the Echo Collection draws on a range of iconic vintage styles, seamlessly blending them with modern design details for a timeless and transitional look.
Featuring 25 unique designs spanning table and floor lamps, wall lights, pendants and chandeliers, this striking collection combines long-lasting natural materials such as wood, marble, alabaster and glass in unexpected ways to create lighting that transcends genres. This is best seen on the Bonnie floor lamp, where a solid Smoked Oak stem is anchored by a Black Carrara marble dome base and finished with a modern capped lampshade, meticulously marrying the past with the present in one design. Similarly, the Daisy family features an Art Deco-inspired fluted glass shade, which when combined with the Black Carrara marble base and Satin Brass metalwork, gives it a new yet nostalgic look.
The attention to detail is what sets this collection apart. Working with trusted artisans both locally and across Europe, we have experimented, adapted and refined each piece in the collection, often adding a final flourish to elevate the design. It is this level of detail that ensures each piece is totally unique and looks just as beautiful turned off, as it does when it’s switched on. The Satin Brass ribbed screws on the Oren wall light are designed to be decorative as well as functional, the hand finished wavy edge on Daisy’s fluted glass shade means no two pieces are the same, and a Satin Brass finial has been added to the Harper floor lamp to punctuate the design with a refined detail.

Craftsmanship and collaboration lie at the heart of this collection, with many elements made or finished by hand. No detail has been left untouched; the perfectly imperfect iron legs on Noor have been painstakingly hammered by a local blacksmith to achieve the irregular silhouette, each glass disc on the Sierra pendant has been poured by hand, and the Red Levanto marble base on Blaire has been hand-carved to create a unique ribbed effect.
Our spring/summer 2024 collection is a celebration of quality craftsmanship and transitional design, ideal for those who appreciate the nostalgic allure of vintage style with the finesse of modern design. Taking cues from the past and then elevating these with unique design details, the collection is made for soulful spaces that marry old and new, for a timeless and sophisticated look.
