It was a simple brief from the client. To create a home that feels welcoming and relaxed. But this clever and considered space from Lee Austin Design delivers so much more. The inspiring renovation is the essence of timeless family living.
The sense of family begins in dining and living areas. These shared spaces are often the heart of the home. Where we come together at the end of the day to reconnect and relax. The soft colour palette and use of subtle textures ensures the room maintains a humble sense of luxury. The smoke glass and delicate gold tassels of our Constance table lamps frame the sideboard and draw your eye to the oversized fish-eye mirror that makes the space feel so open and bright.
Large double doors open straight into the family room, where comfort meets sophistication. Rounded tub chairs echo the curved shapes in plant pots and other accessories around the room. Our bestselling Antero table lamps extend this focus on shape. Its slender form and concave mid-section add a sculptural element to catch your eye.
A previously functional room, the rise of the home office means our studies now carry their own identity. Design elements ensure the space is in keeping with the rest of the home, whilst dark tones and stronger lines, such as those of our Torun desk lamp, make the space feel a little more formal. More professional. A space that helps create the vital differentiation between the working day and the rest of the home.
Continue upstairs and the wide hallway leads through to the sleek master bedroom. Light aqua tones make this serene space the ultimate retreat. The muted palette is complimented by delicate frit detailing in our Vivienne glass table lamps. Opting for the large size option these flea market inspired lamps define the bedsides with an effortlessly stylish finish.
