Set high above the Ionian coastline, Angsana Corfu Resort & Spa combines panoramic sea views with a design approach that reflects both its Greek setting and the heritage of Banyan Group’s Asian roots. As the group’s first European property, the resort brings together authentic Greek hospitality with a refined sense of luxury, creating interiors that feel calm, tactile and deeply connected to their surroundings.
Working alongside Rockwell Group and Box Associates Greece, who oversaw procurement and project management, our Projects team developed a collection of bespoke guestroom lighting that sits effortlessly within the wider interior scheme. Every piece was designed to complement the carefully considered palette of natural materials, refined finishes and soft forms found throughout the resort.
The project featured four bespoke lighting designs across pendant, table, desk and floor lamps. A combination of blackened steel and bespoke tan leather became the defining language across the collection, creating consistency between each fitting while introducing a handcrafted quality that echoes the wider interiors.
More than 300 bedside pendant lights were produced, combining blackened steel with a bespoke wrapped leather detail surrounding a black shade frame. A further 189 bedside table lamps continue the same material palette, pairing blackened steel with hand-finished leather cord shades.
Completing the scheme are 144 bespoke desk lamps and matching floor lamps, each designed using the same carefully considered combination of leather detailing and blackened steel to ensure every element feels connected.
Delivering a project of this scale required meticulous attention to detail. Every fitting was manufactured to achieve complete consistency across hundreds of guestrooms, ensuring that finishes, proportions and material quality remained uncompromising from the first piece to the last.
