Co-working Spaces: The New Normal

Love it or hate it, many of us have spent the last few years working remotely, tapping away at our laptops from the comfort of living rooms or kitchen tables. But as companies continue to embrace hybrid and fully remote work models, the novelty of the makeshift home office has started to wear thin. Queue co-working spaces, offering everything from private phone booths to coffee on tap.

Flexibility, community, and a sense of purpose - these environments are thoughtfully designed to encourage focus, spark creativity, and, quite simply, feel good to be in. And lighting, as always, plays an essential role in that experience.

Co-working at Clarion Hotel the Hub, Oslo
Set in the heart of Oslo’s Bjørvika district, Clarion Hotel the Hub is more than a place to stay - it’s a cultural hub with a modern approach to work and wellbeing. Its 22 meeting rooms and communal co-working spaces are flooded with natural light and feature super-fast Wi-Fi and stylish interiors. We were proud to work with interior design firm Anemone Studio to supply our bestselling table lamps across the space. Chosen for their rich tones of bronze, brown and gold, these pieces complement the hotel's art-led aesthetic and bring warmth to each workspace.

The Hoxton Southwark’s Elevated Co-working Experience
From hot desking to private studios, The Hoxton Southwark has created a dedicated coworking space providing a home from home experience. Including the essentials such as printers & snacks, this coworking space takes it one step further and offers their members a rooftop wellness studio as well as 2 free duvet days per year!

Alongside owners Ennismore, our experienced team of project managers, product designers and engineers worked on this incredible project for a year, supplying bespoke lighting across the hotel’s public areas. Aimed at creating a vibrant and welcoming space, the clients brief included vintage references and classic styles, which our team designed, developed and manufactured, resulting in 22 completely bespoke pieces, from table lamps and wall lights to multiple ceiling fittings and pendants.
